Final Evaluation post 13/02/20 From the beginning of the project i had some concepts onto what to include where some of the ideas were to include a Cyberpunk theme ideology where there would be a human to which you can attach external parts to modify it or to focus on a real city and their perspective onto how they believe/aim to look like in the future. Due to time restraint i have chosen the latter as for me it seemed more straight forward of an idea. Ultimately, creating something like a selling point for the city onto what they think they will achieve in specific time period. Furthermore, throughout the project i have encountered many problems one which was linking the Go Back button to redirect to places i wanted to go to.It was difficult to troubleshoot this problem because software didn't recognize it as an issue therefore didn't post an error so i had to reverse engineer the problem. 11/02/20 I have chosen Dubai as the potential city of The future this is because it seemed to me that their ideas/perspectives seemed to be most realistic as well as they have the capital to potentially make this happen. Which is more optimistic and potential than if other countries would propose such ideas. Furthermore, the purpose of the project that it informs the demographic onto what Dubai plans to do in the future to make their city autonomous or to create better transport. This is relevant to potential tourists coming in to Dubai as it might mean that they might come back in the future to check on the progress of the following projects mentioned in the animation or to try them out themselves. In addition, to improve the potential user experience it would beneficial to have a special landing page or button that would allow the demographic to choose different language this would allow for wider demographic to understand the content that has been published onto the animation. During today's session i have made some animations for the Architecture page and Paperless government page for these pages i have included a drag able item that the audience can interact with. This allows the presentation to not be passive but active. Furthermore, to make such animation i have used a drag and drop code and further i have used ClicktogotoandStopFrame code in order to make sure when an audience drags the item it transfer them onto the next frame which i have put in i.e. gotoAndStop(61) where 61 is the next Frame.
11/02/20 During today's session i have made an animation for a blockchain page as well as i have made some troubleshooting as i had some issues with some buttons not working and not showing up any errors. Furthermore, another issue i have solved was with the drone motion tween going in a cycle to fix this i have included a new keyframe at the end of the animation and have included stop (); code in order to make sure that the animation will only run once.
4/02/20 Dubai Future City video Referring to the video of the future of the Aladdin City i can tell that the plans for this project seemed to be detailed despite the fact that the project is being delayed every now and then due to logistic issues. Suggesting that the country is gathering information that they need in order to carry on with the project. Furthermore, video gives us some basic statistics like the cost of the project and the location. Possibly implying that the video is targeted at demographic and may force them to do their own research about this project. Possibly implying that it is interactive in a sense. 4/01/20 During today's session i have been working remotely from home due to urgent situation. Furthermore, i have focused to make a base of the presentation/animation by making graphic images. 31/01/20 During today's session i have created a drone motion tween for the homepage and transport page. For homepage the drone moves back and forth which was done to create a more realistic movement. Whereas for the transport page the drone just moves off without stopping. References Ryabokon, I.
